Burundi – Cataracts : 300 patients to receive free surgeries with Chinese support.

Burundi: around 300 cataract patients will receive free surgical operations carried out by Chinese ophthalmologists in collaboration with Burundian doctors, under the “March Towards Light” campaign. Launched in Bujumbura for a 21-day period, the initiative is part of health cooperation between Burundi and China, which has already enabled several hundred patients to regain their sight during previous missions.
