South Africa : ANC postpones mayoral candidate announcement to September
The ANC has postponed until September the announcement of its mayoral candidates for South Africa’s major cities, initially scheduled for August 22. The ruling party is nevertheless expected to present its manifesto for the November 4, 2026 local elections, while several other parties have already selected their candidates in major cities.
