Niger : Government announces the recruitment of 6,221 contractual health workers in 2026
The government has announced the recruitment of 6,221 contractual health workers in 2026 to strengthen the healthcare system, particularly in remote areas. According to Health Minister Garba Hakimi, most of the recruitments will concern nurses, while 35 Type II integrated health centers are currently under construction across the country.
