Senegal : agreement to open the United Nations House in Dakar

Senegal and the UN have formalized an agreement in Dakar paving the way for the commissioning of the United Nations House (MONUD) in Diamniadio, which will bring together several UN agencies. Signed between Senegalese authorities and the UN Resident Coordinator, in the presence of a high-level UN delegation, the agreement marks a new stage in cooperation between Dakar and the international organization, aimed at strengthening coordination and improving the effectiveness of field operations.
