Equatorial Guinea : Candido Matuatema Bahita Appointed Deputy Prime Minister

President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has carried out a broad government reshuffle involving the appointment or reappointment of 58 officials. Among the key decisions is the appointment of Candido Matuatema Bahita as Deputy Prime Minister. Several senior members of the executive have retained their positions, including Nicolas Obama Nchama in charge of National Security, Victoriano Nsue Okomo at the Ministry of Defence, and Simeon Oyono Esono Angue as Foreign Minister.
