Madagascar : more than 1,000 hectares of rainforest restored by rural communities

More than 1,100 hectares of degraded rainforests were restored in northern Madagascar between 2021 and 2025 through the involvement of rural communities. The project, led by WWF Madagascar, helped strengthen biodiversity, protect water resources and improve ecosystem resilience.
