Togo : FAO trains agricultural stakeholders

In order to facilitate access to financing for agricultural actors, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Togo’s Ministry of Agriculture have strengthened training efforts around the Rural Invest tool. Combining software and technical support, RuralInvest helps agricultural entrepreneurs design “bankable” business plans that meet the requirements of financial institutions. The system also promotes remote collaboration between project developers and partners.
