Mali : 40 New Recruits Dismissed from the National Youth Service for Insubordination

Forty members of the 7th cohort of Mali’s National Youth Service (SNJ) have been dismissed for “insubordination and refusal to obey orders,” according to an administrative decision dated June 2, 2026. The individuals concerned, drawn from various public service training corps, were excluded by order of the institution’s leadership. This collective measure, rare at such a scale, comes amid efforts to strengthen discipline within the Malian public administration.
