Burkina Faso: Launch of a digital platform to strengthen national solidarity

Burkina Faso has launched the “Démé Sira” digital platform in Ouagadougou, aimed at strengthening national solidarity and support for vulnerable populations. Accessible via phone, tablet, and computer, the tool allows users to report cases of distress, request social assistance, or make donations. According to the authorities, the data submitted will be processed by the relevant services to ensure targeted support, in a context marked by the security crisis and population displacement.
