Africa : Morocco reiterates its support for the political process in Libya

Morocco has renewed its commitment to a political solution to the Libyan crisis during a meeting of the African Union Peace and Security Council. Rabat reaffirmed its support for reconciliation efforts and dialogue between Libyan parties, stressing the Skhirat Agreement as the basis for a lasting settlement. The Kingdom calls for preserving Libya’s unity and sovereignty and for prioritizing a political rather than military path.
