DR Congo: Ebola Outbreak Spreads to Five Provinces with 1,873 Confirmed Cases

The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has now spread to five provinces, with 1,873 confirmed cases and 672 deaths, according to health authorities. Haut-Uélé and Tshopo provinces have been affected for the first time, with cases linked to population movements from Ituri. Declared on May 15, the outbreak has also recorded 306 recoveries, while 763 patients remain under care in health facilities.
