Uganda: Olara Otunnu Announces Bid for UN Secretary-General

Uganda has officially nominated diplomat Olara Otunnu for the position of United Nations Secretary-General. A former UN Under-Secretary-General, he becomes the seventh candidate in the race ahead of the first informal straw poll by the Security Council, scheduled for July 30.
