Africa : Chad Denounces New Incursion by Sudanese Army into Its Territory

Chad has denounced a new incursion by the Sudanese air force into its territory following strikes on August 20 targeting vehicle convoys in the Ennedi-Est province. No casualties were reported, but Chadian authorities placed the army on maximum alert and warned the parties to the Sudanese conflict against extending hostilities into Chad.
