Madagascar: Cooperation with Mauritius on Labor Mobility

Madagascar and Mauritius have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening employment, skills development and labor mobility. The agreement is intended to facilitate Malagasy workers’ access to the Mauritian labor market within a legal and regulated framework, while enhancing their protection and monitoring recruitment processes. Set to run for three years, the agreement also provides for the establishment of a committee to oversee its implementation.
